🔥 Heat Patch Pressing Instructions

🧢 For Hats

  • Temperature: 320–330°F

  • Time: 15–20 seconds

  • Pressure: Firm (as strong as your cap press allows)

  • Peel: Hot peel (remove carrier immediately)

  • For thick chenille patches: repress with a teflon sheet for 5–7 seconds.

👕 For Shirts, Hoodies, Jackets, or Bags

  • Temperature: 320–340°F

  • Time: 12–20 seconds

  • Pressure: Medium to firm

  • Peel: Hot peel (most common) or cold peel (test one first — varies by adhesive type)

Pro Tips

  • Always pre-press fabric for 5–7 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

  • Use a teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect stitches.

  • If applying to denim, canvas, or hoodies, press again from the back for 10–15 seconds.

  • For nylon or polyester blends, lower temp to 285–300°F and press a bit longer.

  • Use heat tape to hold patches in place on curved surfaces (like hats).
